May=Peonies!

I spent a lovely Sunday at the Seattle farmers market, Pike Place, to enjoy the Cheese Festival. That's right, a whole festival for cheese! Although I enjoyed the cheese immensely, the real surprise was that the first of the Peonies had arrived. I love love love Peonies! Here is the dozen stems I got, in shades of pink sitting on my bookshelf at home next to my "Keep Calm..." poster. And here are some more images of beautiful ponies for you to enjoy. Happy Sunday.

My Huge "Pink" Heart

Tarina Tarantio. Girl loves pink! Her hair is pink! Even I haven't (and won't) go that far. Tarina Tarantio is a makeup artist turned jewelry maker turned makeup artist again. The jewelry is kitschy but fun. I love this huge pink heart. What a statement!

Sitting Down

My school quarter is coming to a close and I've been busy this week. It's beautiful in Seattle today and I really should be outside at the market or running the many beautiful routes we have here. But today I'm sitting down and taking a breather. It would be nicer if I was lounging on this traditional pouf from Imports From Marrakesh. I would love to deck my patio out with several of these. They are hand stitched and just gorgeous. Here's to lazy saturdays.....

Target does London

Mark your calendars! On March 14 Target will be carrying Liberty of London patterns in the form of tableware, house ware, candles, clothing, bedding and even a patterned bicycle (oh my)! Gotta love Target for always being the frontrunner on great design at a great price.

Lovely Fabrics

Miss Amy Butler sure is talented. I have some time off between summer and fall quarter from school. What am I doing with my time? Well not much so far...but making an upholstered headboard for my bed is on the list. I came across Amy Butler's fabrics. Available at speciality fabric stores (there is one located not too far from my place on Queen Anne in Seattle). I just have to choose with one I like the best. Hard because they are all so pink!

Oh Diane!

I might not be able to live without this dress. So gorgeous! That Diane von Furstenberg is my superhero. Bring hot pink fashion to the fashion hopeless. Fashion deprived and financially deprived is more my status. This might be my only fall purchase but it would be soooooooooooooooooo worth it.

Working on updating the decor in my bedroom. So I'm off to Home Depot for ??We'll see what I come up with.

Bench...Pink...Love

I've been away for awhile, so sorry if you've missed me. The fact is I'm not really sure anyone is reading this, but if you are please leave me a message! I would love to hear from you. So going back to being away, I guess I got caught up in life and havent' had much time to think about design or pink...so sad. Ok, I never stop thinking about design. Here is a bench/bookcase that I found and of course I saved the picture and can't rememver where I found it. I will do reseach later and figure it out. I promise. And I promise to post more. :) So I found the site where you can view and purchase this bench/bookcase. "Shelves with a Bench" is from a designer named Stanislav Katz from Latvia.

Gorgeous. I saw these kate spade shoes while shopping at Nordstrom this week. Gorgeous. Did I say that already? They were so stunning in the store. Wouldn't they look fantastic with a black skirt and light pink blouse. You can buy yours on sale right now for $176.90 at Nordstrom.com. I'm placing my order right now!

I heart pink glasses

It's another beautiful day in Seattle, which is amazing considering the seriouly bad days we've had up until this weekend. I saw these french inspired "Fleur de Lis" tumblers and carafe on the web site for In Style Magazine this week. With weather this nice remember to stay hydrated! You can purchase them at Maison Midi online but I've also seen them at anthropologie. I sure you can even pick them up at your local antique store and hopefully for a good price. Enjoy the summer while it lasts!

Plastic Fantastic

Plastic furniture in true baroque style. Wood furniture covered in plastic makes it easy to clean and so colorful. Comes in lots of colors actually but I like the pink.

Pink Rooms and more Pink Rooms

It was a beautiful weekend in Seattle. But now it's Monday. Back to work and the real world. This is another attempt to clear out the pictures saved on my computer...I'm always a sucker for a pink room.
