Drink Pink

Don't judge a book by it's cover. Heard this before? We'll I'm totally guilty of it. At least when it comes to picking wine. With so many creatively designed wine labels out there, why not only drink the ones that come in a pretty package. My favorites are Francis Ford Coppola Winery Sofia Collection. Would you drink sparkling wine from a pink can?! Sounds like a celebration to me. And check out the THECOOLIST.com for more unique wine labels.

Lady Gaga

I'm totally obsessed with Lady Gaga. She is so theatrical. Strange, beautiful, artistic. And I love "Bad Romance". The song, the video. The first time I heard it I love love loved it! Simple lyrics but it actually meant something to me. I was thinking of someone at the time. Check out the video, but be warned, it's not for the faint of heart.

An Anthropologie Holiday

It's officially Holiday Season! The air is cool and crisp, Thanksgiving is right around the corner, Starbucks has brought out their holiday cups and I just got my November Anthropologie catalog. These pictures and clothing are inspiringly beautiful. It just makes me want Christmas to come sooner! Yeah, just kidding! Holiday shopping isn't something I'm looking forward to, so for now I'll enjoy the pictures.

Cupcake Therapy

I need a cupcake Stat! Work is stressful, school is stressful. The new boy is not stressful but wonderful actually. Gotta have one good thing going in this crazy thing I call my life. Out the door, on my way to get a cupcake. Or maybe the new boy is being wonderful right now and bringing me cupcakes. And maybe he's also going to buy me this adorable little print to hang in my kitchen. A girl can wish!

Man Loves Pink

Karim Rashid loves pink more than I do. I knew his favorite color is pink and here doesn't disappoint with this new restaurant. Here are some images of the Thai restaurant Kurve he designed and just opened in New York City in August 2009. I think I need to take a trip to NYC soon, very soon. The food looks pretty yummy too!

Hip Hotels

I love going to this site and looking through the pictures dreaming of taking a vacation to one of the Hip Hotels, or to all of them! Here are some of my favorite pics from new hotels in Hong Kong and Singapore. Check out the Hip Hotels website and poke around. I could spend hours looking. And you can also buy the books from your favorite bookstore. Makes a great coffee table book. I heart this pillow.

ROSANGEL-My new Angel!

Oh tequila, how I love you! This new tequila is from Gran Centenario’s and their latest 2009 release. The classic tequila producer began to distribute the world’s only hibiscus infused reposado tequila this past February. Each bottle is infused with the flowers then aged in port barrels for nearly 2 months in order to achieve its soft pink color. And of course, the tequila is made from 100% highland blue agave.

Roseangel was recently praised in the New York Times for its subtle floral notes. Tequila lovers can rest assured that the unique taste of Gran Centenario is not masked by a sweet rosy concoction.

According to Gran Centenario, Roseangel features “a complex perfumed nose with ripe fruit and floral notes, plus hints of vanilla. The palate holds flavors of dried fruits, which leads to a smooth and gentle finish.”

It's Party Time!

I'm not sure how I've never seen this blog before, with all the pretty blog entries they have and me being a self-proclaimed blog addict. Accenttheparty brings me (and now you) great party ideas, cocktail recipes, PRETTY pictures and lots more. It's Friday so here is a fun drink you can sip on all weekend.

The Pink Breeze

Ingredients: (Will serve 2)

5-6 Large Strawberries (can be Fresh or Frozen) and more for Garnish

1 Cup of Ice Cubes (About 8-10)

3 ounces of Pina Colada Mix

3 ounces of White Rum ( We used Puerto Rican White Rum) [Optional: If you want an Alcoholic Drink]

*Note: Fresh Pineapple and Coconut Milk may be used to substitute the Pina Colada Mix if you like.

Preparation:

Combine all the ingredients above and blend them in a blender.

It will a be Frozen Drink.

Lovely Fabrics

Miss Amy Butler sure is talented. I have some time off between summer and fall quarter from school. What am I doing with my time? Well not much so far...but making an upholstered headboard for my bed is on the list. I came across Amy Butler's fabrics. Available at speciality fabric stores (there is one located not too far from my place on Queen Anne in Seattle). I just have to choose with one I like the best. Hard because they are all so pink!
