CB2 Livin'

CB2 , the online store, is always adding items to their sale. I just came across this print which is on sale of course. I'm really feeling that statement right now "Living for the City". Of course I would like to live closer to the city before I display this in my home but believe me someday I will live downtown or closer to downtown Seattle than I do now. Or maybe someday I'll move to a bigger city....I think I ready for anything right now.

I Heart James Merrell's Photography

Photographer James Merrell from the UK has taken some of the most beautiful photos I have ever seen. Breaktaking. Interiors and fashion. Sometimes a mix of both. His site has so many wonderful pictures. I even blogged about this first one some time ago but had no idea who had taken the photo. So now I know. I'm also inspired to take a romantic photo like the last one with my husband now. Wouldn't that look great hanging above the fireplace!

LOVE WHAT YOU DO

I think we all strive to find our passion in life, that thing we really LOVE to do. And the lucky ones get to do it everyday and get paid for it. Life is about passion and feeling and moving and evolving. Every moment should count. I can't say I "love" what I do (not all the time at least) but my foot is in the right direction. I like what I do....lol.... and someday I know I will love what I do. LOVE WHAT YOU DO. *This creative picture comes from Kim Charmley a Danish graphic designer who started her own studio IMI Design in Copenhagen.

May showers bring summer flowers

I want, I want, I want, Iwant, I want!!!!!

"Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka unveiled the world's most beautiful chairs at this year's Salon Internazionale del Mobile, Milan (16-21 April, 2008). Entitled 'Bouquet', this floral masterpiece was created for Italian brand Moroso, with prototypes created from tissue paper and later manufactured by hand from fabric. The designer himself claims that new chair Bouquet "uplifts the sitter as well..."

If I had a $1,000,000........

"If I had a $1,000,000, I'd buy you a house. If I had a 1,000,000, I'd buy you furniture for your house ( maybe a nice chesterfield or an ottoman)"-Barenaked Ladies
If I had a $1,000,000 I would by some furniture, actually all the furniture from Graham and Green. This amazing home store located in the UK is the exact epitome of my taste in furniture design. I really could buy one of everything and find a perfect place for it in my home and life.

Storage and the Kitchen

I've been super busy lately so sorry for the silence. I've also been cleaning my house like mad and wanted to share some pretty picutres I saw on the Living Etc. website about storage ideas. My biggest concern at home is my kitchen. I liked the idea of putting an ornate frame around an open cup board. I'm also really into tea which is why I love the beautiful canisters in the second picture. Hopefully I'll have a chance to address some of my kitchen problems this summer and come out with some cute ideas like this. And on that note, I have to confess that my kitchen is going to be...GREEN! I just bought pale lime green plates and now I need everything to match.
