Barbie Bridal

I'm not sure how I got to looking at pink wedding gowns but here I am discovering Barbie Bridal. I know I'm no where near marriage, I'm not even dating anyone right now, but when I do get married again, it won't be in white. I would gladly marry in anyone of these pink gowns by Japanese company Barbie Bridal. And then I would make all the guests wear white!

Sex and Kristin

Kristin Davis looked so good in her pink strapless dress at the Sex & The City 2 Movie. I'm so excited to see the movie. Just two more days!!!!!!

Parottfish Dress

The party is over. Time to plan the next one! I wish I could get paid for throwing parties for myself! Last Friday I had a birthday party, hosted by my good friend but planned by the both of us. Hopefully somebody was taking pictures because even though I brought my camera, I didn't take any. Oops! This is the lovely dress I was wearing that evening. The Parottfish Dress by Nanette Lepore. It perfectly matched the color theme of the evening. I had so much fun wearing it too. I love when clothes are just fun to wear!

Nanette is a lovely fashion designer with a pinktastic Winter 2010 collection. She always as some great pink pieces and dresses. This short full skirt dress is just so lovely!

Pink & Chic

Fall Fashion Preview. Moschino Cheap & Chic. I love the oversized flower! I bought a dress from Anthropologie recently with a similar (smaller) flower in black. How wonderful it would be to have this pink dress this fall or really a *cheaper* Tanya's budget version of this dress.

Lady Gaga

I'm totally obsessed with Lady Gaga. She is so theatrical. Strange, beautiful, artistic. And I love "Bad Romance". The song, the video. The first time I heard it I love love loved it! Simple lyrics but it actually meant something to me. I was thinking of someone at the time. Check out the video, but be warned, it's not for the faint of heart.

An Anthropologie Holiday

It's officially Holiday Season! The air is cool and crisp, Thanksgiving is right around the corner, Starbucks has brought out their holiday cups and I just got my November Anthropologie catalog. These pictures and clothing are inspiringly beautiful. It just makes me want Christmas to come sooner! Yeah, just kidding! Holiday shopping isn't something I'm looking forward to, so for now I'll enjoy the pictures.

Oh Diane!

I might not be able to live without this dress. So gorgeous! That Diane von Furstenberg is my superhero. Bring hot pink fashion to the fashion hopeless. Fashion deprived and financially deprived is more my status. This might be my only fall purchase but it would be soooooooooooooooooo worth it.

I came across this photo from fashion photographer Nicole Patricia Malina and thought it was just gorgeous. I love the stillness of the photo even though the dresses are moving. Product Runway

This last weekend I was involved in a fashion show with outfits made out of interior design materials...everything from stone to carpet to drapes. I was on a team with local design firm, Gensler. They were kind enough to ask me to join their team as a student. We made an Elizabeth inspired cape and coller out of Tandus carpet. The project was time consuming fun and worth it in the end. All of the outfits were amazing! So much work and detail put into it. Did I mention that my team was in the top 6 out of 20! We were happy with that.

Still Searching

I'm still on the search for the perfect Birthday dress. Of course it has to be pink and I have to be the most beautiful girl in the room. There are so many lovely pink dresses to choose from. I subscribe the the daily email updates from Who What Wear. They're great for fashion tips and to see what trends the rich and famous are wearing. Today the email was about Shocking Pink! A little pink, a lot of pink....it's all good!

Ok, back to the drawing board. The dress that I purchased from Neiman Marus for my birthday party didn't look great....sadly. Here is another dress by Betsey Johnson. I love love love love her stuff! Hopefully this is it, just got to go buy it, maybe try it on first..haha.
