Wouldn't it be nice to be a wealthy socialite. Maybe I've been watching too much Gossip Girl and dreaming of a high fashion, high design life. This socialite in Dallas got lucky when her father bought her a penthouse at the W Hotel and had Jan Showers & Associates design it. I love straight forward modern feel but with all the girly touches. You can tell that a girl lives here, but it's not over girly. A very lucky girl, indeed.
Kate Morris has the perfect job. She is a photographic stylist, set designer and prop buyer in the UK. Her web site is beautiful, so colorful and her rooms are perfection. Love it!
Nobody pulls a room together like Kelly Wearstler. Although she rarely will stay with one color, her mix of color and textures always turns looks just perfect. She is definitely not afraid to use the best and brightest, including pinks, yellows and blues. Kelly Wearstler is my interior design idol.
House Beautiful Magazine has a nice website and on their home page they have a photo gallery of Beautiful Bedrooms. Lots of good inspiration if you are thinking of doing something new to the most intimate space in your home.
Yet another to visit New York soon. Interior Designer Elizabeth Bauer has a store with a unique style of mixing texture and color. I love the colorful touches she brings to store that I'm sure she also designs her clients projects. Guess her store is on my ever growing New York list.
I started this blog as an ode to Pink and Design. I work at an Interior Design firm in Seattle I am the most girly girl you will ever meet! Of course my favorite color is pink. But design comes in many colors. This blog is about loving girly things, living in Seattle and the inspiration I find in my life.
