I happened across this blog today and spent way to much time looking at it. Nicole Gibbons is a New York based decorating and lifestyle expert. She blogs about all things design and design related and also throws in personal touches. She seems to be in the know about lots of new design blogs, websites and designers in general. It's Party Time!

I'm not sure how I've never seen this blog before, with all the pretty blog entries they have and me being a self-proclaimed blog addict. Accenttheparty brings me (and now you) great party ideas, cocktail recipes, PRETTY pictures and lots more. It's Friday so here is a fun drink you can sip on all weekend.

The Pink Breeze

Ingredients: (Will serve 2)

5-6 Large Strawberries (can be Fresh or Frozen) and more for Garnish

1 Cup of Ice Cubes (About 8-10)

3 ounces of Pina Colada Mix

3 ounces of White Rum ( We used Puerto Rican White Rum) [Optional: If you want an Alcoholic Drink]

*Note: Fresh Pineapple and Coconut Milk may be used to substitute the Pina Colada Mix if you like.

Preparation:

Combine all the ingredients above and blend them in a blender.

It will a be Frozen Drink.

Seattle Furniture...Luxe or Luxury

I love the store Maison Luxe in Seattle. Ton's of great inspiring home design. The pink sofa will be mine someday! I got all the pictures from the web site and also from the blog. These bookcases are too cute! Great for a kids room, their like big logo pieces. I found it on the blog 2Modern Design Talk. Here are a few word they said.

"Designers from a Swedish design company, Smånsk, revealed these magnified Legos that stack up into a whimsical bookcase, at the Stockholm Furniture Fair in February. According to Smånsk: 'All parts of the Skew Bookcase are identical. To assemble it you just rotate the parts and place them on top of each other. The identical parts provides easy manufacturing as well.'"

My New Obsession

How fitting that I launch is blog on Valentine's Day! I just wanted to share my blogging obession http://madebygirl.blogspot.com/ and the retail site http://madebygirl.com/. I ordered my Valentine's Day cards from Made by Girl and they came yesterday, just in time! I also ordered the poster of the woman in bed and waiting in anticipation for it to arrive. I'm going to hang it in my newly painted bedroom, how sexy is that!
