Hello...Kitty

Did you know that you can find anything, and I mean anything, you want in a Hello Kitty design?! I sure didn't until I found this site DreamKitty.com. Anything from a rice cooker, to plush toys, to an optical mouse to a water bottle! It's actually kind of overwhelming. I like Hello Kitty but that is too much. Below are some of the more tasteful item's I've found. And there's also a line of fine jewerly. I would love to have a ring or pendent, but I don't think my husband would appreciate me spending hundreds of dollars on it. I think I'll just stick to my $1.99 Hello Kitty bandaids!Rice Cooker, very cute! Fine jewerly found at http://www.hellokittyfinejewelry.com/

FR.OG French Origin

I had the pleasure of stumbling upon this restaurant when I was in New York City last December. I looked in, got a good look but sadly did not have a chance to eat or have drinks here. Well, I guess that's a good reason to go back to NYC for a visit in the near furture.
FR.OG is located at 71 Spring Street in NoLita.

Here are a few kind words from URBANDADDY NYC:
You're always looking for ways to impress her.
Buying her flowers or pretending to listen intently while she talks about her new handbag are two options. But few things will help your cause more than an evening at the new pastel-heavy French resto that is FR.OG.
FR.OG—which stands for France Origine—uses a bold design and Moroccan, Vietnamese and Lebanese accents to create a more colorful version of Casablanca. Start with a drink at the massive glass-marble bar flanked by square stools upholstered in pink leather. (Get used to the pink—there's a lot more where that came from.) While you sip one of the infused cocktails (Ginger Rose Martini for her, the Moroccan spiced FR.OG Martini for you), you might want to show that you are moved by the hypnotic wave pattern of the sculpted white wall opposite the bar. (She'll see you have a sensitive side.)

The Wedding Dress

My first non-pink post and picture. I'm been in the whole wedding mode lately with by brother-in-law, cousin and a friend all getting married this year. I was asked to help be a day of coordinator and I'm so excited. I just say this picutre of this Ream Acra dress. It's so gorgous! If I was doing it again I would pick this dress. Well, I've already had my big wedding 4 years ago and here is the dress I did wear. It was beautiful too! I felt like a princess.....

Whimsy Press, All that's great about wrapping paper

I'm a huge fan of paper, all kinds of paper but I sepecially like wrapping paper! And the fact that you get to use it to create a beautiful object to give someone as a gift. I think the wrapping paper can even be better than the present. Whimsy Press has some great new paper, so pretty!

Veil

My favorite resturant in Seattle is Veil. Located in the middle of a residential area, it's always easy to find parking, they have a great brunch on the weekends and the design! Well that's really why I love it. With the pink lighting and pink accents against the stark white decor....take a look.

The Oscar and the Dress

I just sat and watched 3 1/2 hours of the Academy Awards. Actually I should have been doing my homework but this was more fun! Cameron Diaz was the only person wearing a pink dress but there were lots of beautiful gowns, hair and jewerly. Below are some of my favorite pink dress that have been worn to the Oscars over the years. Gwyneth Paltrow gets the award for wearing pink the most. I really love Jessica Biel's fushia gown. Such a beautiful color!

Pink Room and cute doggie

I would love to be this woman. Living in that great pink bedroom and waking up with that sweet cute doggie. I love my dog but this one is so cute!

LOVE, LIVE and LOSS

I would like to spend a moment reflecting on life and love. In the recent death of a relative I've been thinking about what is important in my life and the things I want to achieve. Thinking about the people that love me and how I need to take time to be with them, even when we are all busy. So take this moment to cherish the things you have and tell the ones you love how much they mean to you.

Brocade Home

I can spend hours looking at the furniture and home decor on Brocade Home http://www.brocadehome.com/. My ideal home would be a mix between modern and antique furniture. Although Brocade Home is not antique, it has that romantic feeling with all the damask patterns and Victorian chairs. Check out that little miniture set with the chaise lounge, vanity and chair!
