I'm feeling blue this Holiday Season but of course my apartment is decorated in pink. Here is a lonely pink decorated house in the newest issue of Lonny magazine online.

Starting the Holidays Early
I'm desperately trying to get myself into the Christmas spirit this year. I know it's a little early, but the stores are already stocked with Holiday cheer and I don't want the season to pass me by like it did last year. County Home has a wonderful slide show with 77 inspirational pictures and themes. Almost makes me want to put on some Christmas music and start making my Christmas cards. xoxo

Turquoise and Pink
As we're moving into the dark reality of winter, I think it's important to incorporate some bright colors into our lives. I tend to wear lots of black so I'm trying to find a brighter coat. Black can always be dressed up with bright scarves and accessories. Lately I've had turquoise & pink on my mind. What an amazing color combination. I like Tiffany Blue and fuschia. Coming home to such lovely colors would brighten anyones day. Here are some images found through a google search. Enjoy the winter out there!

DON'T WORRY. EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE AMAZING.
You know me. Always looking for words of encouragement. I saw this card on esty and it cheered me up a bit. I've been a funk lately. The weather is changing (my skin has been sooooo ichy lately!), I haven't been running as much, I've been sick for two weeks (first with the flu and then a cold) and life seems to be slowing down. I am going to NEW YORK this weekend though! So excited. Buy this card for yourself at HereMyDear.

Barbie Bridal
I'm not sure how I got to looking at pink wedding gowns but here I am discovering Barbie Bridal. I know I'm no where near marriage, I'm not even dating anyone right now, but when I do get married again, it won't be in white. I would gladly marry in anyone of these pink gowns by Japanese company Barbie Bridal. And then I would make all the guests wear white!

Flowers
It's Friday. I want to buy myself some flowers. I deserve to have flowers and I don't need anybody else to buy them for me. I'm strong, independent and happy. Life is funny. You meet somebody and then there're gone. Just like that. In two months one can decide that they don't want to spend anymore time with you. Ok, I'm sad. Maybe flowers will cheer me up.

RUE
In the wake of the dearly departed shelter magazines, Domino and Metropolitan Home, comes a new era of online magazines. First was Lonny, which I blogged about last week and now there is Rue. Started by a blogger in Chicago (I so wish I could start a magazine too!), Rue is very beautiful, helpful, stylish and fun. Come on! It opens up with Champagne & Sparkles! As I'm nursing a hangover this morning; I proclaim that I am not drinking any alcohol for the next month. You heard it first. Happy Monday or something like that.........

Lonny Website
I'm sure all you designers out there got the super exciting news that online magazine Lonny has a new website with archives of rooms for past issues. Although all the past issues are available to browse through, now a digital archive is easy to look though and find lots of design inspiration. Loony has become a good substitute for the dearly departed Domino magazine and the now this new website is making it easier and easier to like it more. There is also lots of pink inspiration which I love! Enjoy my fellow designers!

Wishbone Chair
The Wishbone Chair designed by Hans Wegner in 1949 is being offered for the first time in pink as part of project to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Twenty world famous interior designers designed cushions for this iconic chair that will be auctioned off in NYC on October 7. You can also purchase the chair in pink for the next year at SUITE New York and 20% of profits go to the Breast Caner Research Foundation. What a wonderful idea! I'm in the market for a new chair. I'll have to check it out when I'm in NYC next month to visit my best friend who just moved. I have a feeling I'll be spending a lot of time there now that she has moved. There are worse places to visit! HAPPY MONDAY!
